Say 'No' to Cyber Bullying

                                          Beware of Cyber Bullying 

                                       Due to Covid pandemic now more people are  utilizing online  transaction facilities and social media interactions. Learners  are also utilizing online platform more than ever. Now its our responsiblity to  make our  virtual spaces safe and secure. 

                                      Virtual worlds are sometimes polluted with    cyber bullying.  Cyber bullying an electronic attack. cyber bullying is bullying online. We should be aware of identifying and protecting overselves against the  dangerous techniques of  cyberattack widely used in our social spaces.

i.Harassement: Target is personally insulted online.

ii.Fraping: publishing the distored photos  of the victimes to humiliate the target.

iii.Exclusion:  leaving someone out deliberately.

iv.Doxing (Outing) :revealing privacy with out consent.

v.Trickery:  deceptively abusing the trust of the victim.

vi.Stalking: following the victim  and attacking.

vii.Masquerading: made up profile with fake identity  is created to bully.

viii.Dissing: spraeding cruel information about their target through public posts and messages by the bully to ruin the reputation of the victim.

ixFlaming: Posting about or directly sending insults and profanity to their targets.

x.Trolling:  It need not be a cybercrime in normal cases. but only when posting inflamatory comments online with malicious and harmful intention trolling becomes cyber bullying.

 

Say 'No' to Bullying

                             Bullying causes significant emotional and psychological distress. The victim feel overwhelmed, powerless, humiliated, worthless, vengeful, disinterested, isolated, depressed and sometimes physically sick and in extreme cases even scuicidal. Bullying is not  a joke but a serious punishable offence. In the educational institutions, bullying (ragging) is prohibitted through working of antiragging cells and Anti bullying Laws. 

                            

                                 Bullying never happens in isolation. It actually reflect the socio- cultural ambience of the socity. We should be able to diagnose such social symptoms in advance and cure them to avoid  spreading  a culture of violence,  attack and rape.

Let us be get sensetized to the issues of online bullying and be empowered to protect ourselves from such malicious attacks. let's make our social and virtual spaces more safe and secure for a better future.
